I was working on a pitch for a new book which, sadly and for various reasons, didn't materialise but that is life and as one door closes and all that, I was then asked to do further work on a freelance commission for a big cruise company so perhaps it was all for the best.
I also used the time to select some more of my photos for calendars, the newest being Cruise Norway. This is part of my series of calendars bring back cruise memories for specific regions - I have already published Cruise Caribbean so next will be the Mediterranean, probably split between western and central or eastern.
As for actually getting back on board my next cruise is on the lovely Oriana, to the Adriatic. It feels a very long time since Aurora back in April and I am really looking forward to being on board my favourite ship. And after that - my Awfully Big Adventure, about which I hope to write a full book so will save that for later!
