Phew - what a busy week!

Well, that was a week and a half. It all began on Saturday when I drove to my friend whose home overlooks Southampton Water. Since we would be sailing together on the Sunday it was nice to have a more relaxed drive down without worrying about missing any ships! As it was , I was there in time to have a grandstand view of four cruise ships leaving that afternoon -

 

MSC Opera left first, followed by Celebrity Eclipse, Queen Mary 2 and Ventura

We headed for an early night as I knew the next day would be busy but also another four ships would be arriving in the early morning and I wanted to be up to see them arrive.
